Our Commitment to Privacy

PhoneCleanKit is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe that your photos, videos, and personal data belong to you and you alone. That's why we've built our app to work entirely on your device without collecting, storing, or transmitting any of your personal information.

Information We Do NOT Collect

PhoneCleanKit does not collect any personal information. This includes:

• Photos or videos from your library
• Contact information
• Location data
• Personal identifiers or account information
• Personal preferences or settings

On-Device Processing

All photo and video analysis performed by PhoneCleanKit happens entirely on your iPhone or iPad. All features, including similar photo detection, blurry photo identification, and duplicate finding, run locally on your device. Your media never leaves your device.

Photo Library Access

PhoneCleanKit requires access to your Photo Library to function. This access is used solely to:

• Analyze photos and videos for duplicates, similarities, and quality
• Display photos within the app for your review
• Delete photos you select (moved to Recently Deleted)

We never upload, share, or transmit any photos or videos from your library.

Contacts Access

If you use the Duplicate Contacts feature, PhoneCleanKit will request access to your Contacts. This access is used only to identify and merge duplicate contacts on your device. Contact information is never transmitted or stored outside your device.

Analytics and Diagnostics

To improve app performance and user experience, PhoneCleanKit collects anonymous diagnostic data using Firebase Analytics. This data is not linked to your identity and includes:

• Crash Data: Information about app crashes to help us identify and fix bugs
• Performance Data: App performance metrics to help us optimize speed and responsiveness
• Usage Events: Anonymous interaction data (such as button taps and feature usage) to understand how users navigate the app

This diagnostic data does not include any personal information, photos, contacts, or identifiable data. It is used solely for improving app quality and fixing issues.

Third-Party Services

PhoneCleanKit uses Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous diagnostic and performance data as described above. Firebase Analytics does not collect personally identifiable information from our app. You can learn more about Firebase's privacy practices at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

We do not use any advertising services or share your personal information with third parties.

In-App Purchases

If you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information or Apple ID.

Data Security

We do not collect or store any personal data on our servers. The anonymous diagnostic data collected through Firebase is handled securely by Google's infrastructure. Your personal information remains protected by your iPhone's built-in security features, including encryption and Face ID/Touch ID protection.

Children's Privacy

PhoneCleanKit does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
